Living Water is a fine collection of Christian art unfolding across five Acts, exploring water as both a physical element and a spiritual presence throughout Scripture. This curated exhibition moves from the depths of creation and chaos, through wilderness, crossing, humility, and finally into abiding life within. Each Act reflects a different stage of spiritual formation, using water as a unifying thread between judgment, provision, cleansing, dependence, service, and renewal.
Rather than illustrating biblical events literally, this collection approaches them contemplatively—through atmosphere, symbolism, and emotional weight, much like classic artworks. The works are designed to be experienced as a progression: from darkness and separation to communion and inward transformation.
Across the five Acts, water becomes more than simply an environment or metaphor. It serves as a witness to creation, a source of provision, a boundary of faith, an act of service, and ultimately a sustaining presence carried within.

James Harris “Dwayne” Dick, born September 23, 1955, is an artist, drone pilot, and longtime GIS/mapping professional whose creative work showcases Christian art that blends technology, faith, visual storytelling, and personal testimony on flooding. After decades of working with maps, land, imagery, and technical design, my art has evolved into a space where spiritual reflection and visual imagination merge. I often explore themes of creation, water, light, wilderness, restoration, and the movement of God through challenging seasons. The LIVING WATER Collection emerged from both hardship and revelation, illustrating the duality of water as not only a source of damage and disruption but also as a profound symbol of cleansing, renewal, judgment, crossing, humility, and life. This collection is a part of curated exhibitions that highlight classic artworks, inviting viewers to experience the deeper meanings behind these themes.

FLOW is my word for 2026!

- joy flow
- LIVING WATER flow
After my 12/23/25 99% blockage of the “Widow Maker” and flooding over the last year, I decided to pick flow as my word of the year 2026, inspired by the beauty of classic artworks and the passion found in curated exhibitions!
